Charm gold/rose plated

Description

Our gold- or rose gold-plated brass charms are handcrafted with care and finished with a delicate layer of real 24k gold or rose gold. Each charm has a unique, artisanal character and a warm, elegant glow thanks to its genuine metal surface.

Advantages

Real materials: The base of each charm is solid brass, plated with a thin layer of real gold or rose gold — not paint or imitation, but actual metal plating.

Handmade charm: Because each piece is cast and finished by hand, no two charms are exactly alike. Minor variations are part of their handcrafted appeal.

Possible Disadvantages

Visible scratches or imperfections: Due to the handmade nature of the charm, small surface scratches or imperfections may be visible. These are normal and part of its artisanal character.

Delicate finish: The gold or rose gold layer is thin and may wear down over time, especially with frequent rubbing or rough handling.

Not water- or perfume-resistant: To keep your charm looking its best, avoid contact with water, perfume, or cleaning products.

All charms are made based on a .stl file, which means you need to provide the scan in 3D as you are accustomed to for pregnancy figurines. How does it work?

Pregnancy Charm
The pregnancy charms can be made based on an existing scan. If your customer has a scan with arms, they can choose to have the charm cast with arms, but it is also possible to digitally remove the arms. Please note that this is only possible with a charm where the arms are facing downwards (see gallery). So, it is possible to order a charm with a scan made by you, but it can also be supplied if a scan was made by another company.

Coins Hand-Footprint
The impression charms are made based on a scan of an existing impression, such as an impression in plaster or clay. You scan the impression with your 3D scanner and send us this raw scan. We digitally place the impression in the coin. If you do not want to purchase digital editing, make sure to provide the charm ready for printing, in the correct format, and already placed in the coin.

Other Charms
For charms like the first shoe or a teddy bear, the original object must also be scanned and provided. Tip: most scanners have trouble scanning small objects, so make sure to scan the object together with something larger with a lot of texture, such as a wooden base or a coat rack.

Upload printable file
If you choose to provide your files print-ready, make sure that your size is already set and the ring with an inner diameter of at least 2mm is attached to the charm. For the coin, the imprint must already be placed on the coin in the correct format, at the correct position, and optionally with a name. The hole should have a minimum diameter of 2MM, and the thickness of the coin must be at least 1.6. Try to enhance or deepen visible folds in the hands and feet so that they may still be visible on the small charm. This may look ‘exaggerated’ digitally on the model.
